Ingredients

  • 3 750 mL (1.5 pint) tubs yogurt 
  • 2 types of fruit, cut into bite-sized pieces, such as 
    • 5 bananas 
    • 2–3 cups berries (frozen or fresh) 
    • 3 apples, sliced 
    • 1 pineapple, chopped, or 3 540 mL cans pineapple, drained600 g (1 lb, 5 oz) frozen peaches, chopped (approximately 2 bags)
  • 625 mL (2½ cups) cold cereal or granola 
  • 175 mL (¾ cup) seeds, such as pumpkin, sunflower or flax 

Directions

  1. Place ingredients in separate serving bowls. Use a tablespoon to serve the yogurt and cereal and a teaspoon to serve the fruit and seeds. Provide each student with a bowl or cup to make their parfait in. 
  2. Now it’s time to build the parfait! Have students add the ingredients of their choice to their bowl. 
  3. Grab a spoon and enjoy!
